micro: PROJECT MANAGER

Contract to full-time, NYC

As MICRO’s Project Manager your organizational superpowers will oversee the operations that drive our growing fleet of six-foot-tall museums.

You will make sure that MICRO HQ’s office and studio space run smoothly. Spreadsheets? You love them. From ordering and tracking inventory through to balancing budgets and managing MICRO’s day-to-day operations, you are a Jack, Jill or Jungle Cat of all trades who is excited to help build the systems that will support MICRO as we grow.

Do you have a background in a bustling office? Have you worked as a production associate, or overseen projects with lots of moving parts? If you’re a hyper-organized, self-motivated doer who loves to streamline processes and wants to work with beautiful museums, Project Manager at MICRO is your dream job.

micro: COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Contract to full-time, NYC

As MICRO’s Communication’s Specialist your ninja skills are perfectly honed to oversee MICRO’s communications.

From building media relationships and developing, writing and placing earned stories all the way through to growing MICRO’s online presence, producing materials for MICRO’s marketing and internal communications needs, and supporting MICRO’s venue partners, you are a copywriter with research and graphic design skills and the ability to turn around polished copy across a range of voices.

micro: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Full-time, NYC

We want MICRO’s museums to go everywhere. MICRO’s Business Development Manager will see to it that our museums pop up in all the right places.

You’ll lead MICRO through its next stage of growth, expanding our reach by driving museum rentals, and pioneering brand sponsorships. Collaborating closely with MICRO’s co-founders, you’ll put our business development strategy in motion.

We’re looking for someone personable and articulate; a talented communicator and empathetic listener with evident passion for what MICRO is building. MICRO’s Business Development Manager will also be self-motivated and results-driven — an entrepreneur who loves to sell and thrives on meeting goals.

MICRO: the museum FLEET TEAM

Part-time/Contract, NYC

MICRO is assembling a team to help us transport, install, and maintain tiny science museums. You'll be installing museums in the field in places ranging from libraries to civic centers, at events and... all over! 

You'll be doing basic exhibit maintenance, checking in on and cleaning the museums, interfacing with our venue partners, and giving the occasional tour, because you can't stand near a MICRO museum and not attract some curious attention.

Do you have fabrication, model-building, or installation experience? Are you a set builder or theater tech wiz? We want to hear from you.

Must be based in NYC and have an active drivers license.
