You thrive on prioritization!

Do you have a background in a bustling office? Have you worked as a production associate, or overseen projects with lots of moving parts? If you’re a hyper-organized, self-motivated doer who loves to streamline processes and wants to work with beautiful museums, Project Manager at MICRO is your dream job.
As MICRO’s in-house Fabricator your high quality fabrication superpowers will help outfit, maintain, and drive our growing fleet of six-foot-tall museums.

Hours are flexible, beginning at 8-16 hours (1-2) days per week. Pre-arranged weeks of full time work may be available. NYC based.
Come collaborate with MICRO to research and develop MICRO’s program over the winter of 2018-2019.
Are you a college student who likes to be on stage, engage the public with science, and think about where the universe came from or what happens deep, deep in the world’s oceans?
MICRO is looking for curious, motivated college students to help us research and develop our very first Explainers Program at the Smallest Mollusk Museum, a six-foot-tall natural history museum in Lincoln Medical Center in the South Bronx. We’re looking for students with a passion for education. You don’t need to have a background in science, but you do need to be curious about how the world works, and why.
MICRO’s R&D Explainers will engage with training and R&D program development at both the Smallest Mollusk Museum at Lincoln Medical Center in the South Bronx and at MICRO’s studio in Brooklyn. Hours can be flexible.
MICRO: the museum FLEET TEAM
MICRO is assembling a team to help us transport, install, and maintain tiny science museums. You'll be installing museums in the field in places ranging from libraries to civic centers, at events and... all over!
You'll be doing basic exhibit maintenance, checking in on and cleaning the museums, interfacing with our venue partners, and giving the occasional tour, because you can't stand near a MICRO museum and not attract some curious attention.
Do you have fabrication, model-building, or installation experience? Are you a set builder or theater tech wiz? We want to hear from you.
Must be based in NYC and have an active drivers license.
MICRO's museums are for all kinds of visitors. Our team includes all kinds of people. As we grow, we are excited to build an organization that is welcoming and supportive. MICRO encourages applications from people of all races, backgrounds, orientations, religions, and genders. Non-US citizens OK, however MICRO is not able to sponsor visas at this time.
